Our area has the "blue can" recycling, it works great.  Just make sure people know not to the recycled trash in plastic "grocery" bags, they are not on the list!  We now have a large kitchen trash can for the recycling, 13 gal., and a small can for everything else.  Its a challenge to see how little we can put in the small can.

I can't WAIT to get mine!  They've been teasing us about this for months now!

Terry, all very good points and I really like how you listed the items that are hazardous. There are a lot of people that really don't know what falls into the category and what doesn't. Great service to provide the reader.

Thanks Gena, it helps to have a reminder now and then, and the list changes as time goes on.
