The conference was amazing, oppoprtunities for entrepreneurs, vendors and the public to see, touch and feel green products and hear speakers who have been making HUGE strides in the Green technology and awareness on the West Coast and around the world. I'll review other things in other blog posts but today just was thrilled and astounded at this adorable vehicle. Just check this out:
ELV Motors offers "Fleet Certified" electric bicycles, scooters and hybrid motorcycles for personal and corporate use. This scooter gets 400 miles per $1!
This would make a huge difference in your commute costs. The local ELV motors is in Santa Clara, California. I am sure they offer this car in other places around the country, although I could not find others on their website. I am sure they'd be happy to sell one to you too.

It's very cute, if I wasn't afraid of motorcycle-type transportation, I bet I'd have one. Or if I lived in a small town where there weren't a lot of crazy drivers. It's a great idea. Imagine all the $ saved!
Terrylynn, how cute! May not be ideal for transporting staging inventory, but wouldn't it be fantastic for those quick trips to town. Looks like room enough to fit my daughter on the back - I often feel like a taxi running her to school events, sports, friends. Much more earth friendly approach and easier on the wallet to fill up!
I know, I am really enthralled with it too. Just think if our second car was one of these and we all saved this much energy for other things!!! Thanks for commenting.
Gosh, wouldn't THAT be a great write-off! Green travel, less gas $$$$ - win-win-win! 'll have to check into this!
Looks very cute! And I can imagine saving all that gas money. I look forward to seeing what else was there :)
Connie, I think it's pretty cute. I can just see us years from now with golf carts and scooters running all round town. Cars will be reserved for freeways only. That might be nice, actually. A little more casual and more GREEN for sure.
With our gas situation being what it is, I could sure use a vehicle that got 400 miles for a $1.00, that is if I could find a station that sold gas (smile).

Me too...Kathy. Although on the freeway, not so much. Just too scarey for anything but around town. Thanks for commenting.
